Antique Full Tang Diamond Shaft Screwdriver / Prybar
This hefty antique screwdriver bears no maker's mark, but the design was obviously lifted from H.D. Smith's "perfect handle" lin--it has the classic riveted full tang construction and look. Diamond shaped shaft. Can't tell if the screwdriver portion was "forge welded" on or if the fuller was just hammered down and sanded off somehow. From the hammer marks on the butt, it appears this tool has been used successfully as a prybar on at least one occassion, and would probably serve as one again. One of the scales is ever so slightly loose (probably from the shock). Tip is 5/8" wide, tool is 10 1/2" long overall.
This vintage saw set bears no maker's mark but has "MADE IN U.S.A." cast into the inside of the handle. Measures about 5" x 4". Spring is good, opens and closes smoothly.

This antique jeweler's screw or die tap wrench is marked "S.W. CARD Mansfield Mass." indicating the maker working from 1874 to 1908 out of Massachusetts prior to being acquired by the Union Twist Drill Co. Also marked "No. 0" and "40." 5 1/4" long overall. Adjusts smoothly down to a 3/32" opening from corner to corner (the steel brace is on sliding rails, so you unscrew the holder, slide it back, then screw it in--the steel bit could concievably be removed entirely to jam a big enough bit in there).
